thatteOS
A ternary microkernel you can run today
Written in ManiT. Hosted on Linux now; aimed at T3ISA and the THATTE Device.
Hosted Linux build · public v0.3.0 · needs maniTC
What it is
A microkernel for a photonic-ternary fabric
thatteOS manages trit addresses, one-trit privilege, TritFS, trit-stream IPC, and capabilities — including photon-schedule caps — the way a conventional kernel manages a CPU. The source is entirely ManiT.
What ships today is the hosted Linux path: build with maniTC’s LLVM backend, run ./thatteos, explore the shell and userspace. Full “runs on T3ISA including GUI” and bare metal are roadmap — not present.
