Patent applications covering the underlying photonic-ternary hardware have been filed with the Indian Patent Office (Application Nos. 202621045270–202621045342, filed 9 April 2026). Sole inventor: Manish Jagdish Thatte.
The AGPL’s patent grant (§11) applies to the software as released. Hardware implementations require a separate license. Research demos and related material: maniTLab.org.
